Great Wall Motor, Nepal (GWM-Nepal) successfully conducted the road test of Ora Good Cat EV in Nepal and is now ready to be officially launched in the Nepali market.The Ora Good Cat which will be available in three variants in Nepal is priced at Rs 39.99 Lakh (Tech), Rs 43.39 Lakh (Pro) and Rs 47.99 Lakh (Ultra) respectively.According to the company, the Ora Good Cat EV performed admirably in a variety of terrain and road situations throughout the road drive test. Whether down slopes or upwards, on blacktop highways or on rocky & gravel-filled routes, the car performed admirably, with its features offering excellent support. Whereas similar ranged vehicles would have been difficult to drive, Ora provided a smooth riding experience for individuals in the driver's seat without the stress of depleting battery levels.The Ora Good Cat immediately drew the attention of everyone in the vicinity. This aspect alone could be one of the most important drivers in propelling the GWM brand forward in terms of cutting-edge technology and environmental consciousness, further stated the company.The Ora Good Cat will be offered in two battery packs: 47.8 kWh and 63.1 kWh. The smaller 47.8 kWh battery can run for up to 400 kilometers based on New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) standard, while the larger 63.1 kWh can run for as long as 500 kilometer in line with New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) standard, claims the company. The Ora Good Cat's engine’s maximum power is at 105 kW or 143 PS. Maximum torque is 210 NM. And, top speed is rated at 152 km/hour.Developed over GWM's smart modular E Lemon platform,the Ora Good Cat measures the body size of 1,825 x 4,235 x 1,596 mm (width x length x height). The wheelbase is 2,650 mm, the longest in its class.GWM Nepal is confident that Ora Good Cat launch will also turn a new page in Nepalese EV industry marking a new benchmark in range, performance and youthfulness.Apart from this, GWM Nepal is also planning to launch two more EV variants under the Ora brand within 2022.
